Our Rev. War Specialist is Chad Bonifazi and he has written his bio for us as follows:
Well I am a reenactor of several time periods. First I am a Corporal in my Revolutionary war group, the 4th Battalion New Jersey Volunteers which is a member unit of the Brigade of the American Revolution as well as the British Brigade. We portray an early war example of that particular Loyalist regiment during the war. Loyalists of this time period are one of my specialties as I am now composing a thesis on this particular subject. I also have a modest expertise on the rest of the British army as well as some continental units. I am also a reenactor of the French and Indian war, portraying Grahams company of the 42nd Royal Highland Regiment. I have done a few different impressions for the American Civil War including the 12th Alabama, as well as Carpenters Battery. In the 20th century I do World War One reenacting as bomber Macgregor of the royal highland regiment (the Black Watch) as a member of the Great War Society. As one can tell by my reenactment groups my area of military expertise is the British army during the Colonial period in America as well as the Great war era. I strive for accuracy in all of my impressions from the food I eat to the military courtesies I observe.
